A pleasure to welcome Conservative Party Leader Kemi Badenoch and Shadow Secretary of State for Defra Victoria Atkins to Upper Peppershill Farm in Long Crendon earlier to meet with local farmers.
The discussion largely revolved around measures in the recent Budget, which brought in the Family Farm Tax, that will cause family farms to sell huge proportions of farms to pay the tax bill, risking the future of farming in our country.
Conservatives are committed to reversing this damaging tax and it was great to have Kemi and Victoria able to discuss this and other issues direct with local Mid Bucks farmers.
