At Energy Security and Net Zero Question Time this morning, Greg Smith MP pushed the Minister to uphold the Prime Minister's clear commitment that vast swathes of agricultural land would not be lost on his watch to solar, citing the huge number of solar installations either being built out or proposed across Buckinghamshire - including the monster 2,100 acre proposal in the Claydons known as Rosefield. Inefficient solar technology must not be allowed to take away our farmland, when better solutions such as small modular reactors need just two football pitches of land. Greg will keep fighting on this.
