Greg Smith MP was pleased to meet representatives from UKIFDA and Future Ready Fuel in Parliament earlier to discuss decarbonisation for off-grid homes. For many rural homes heat pumps are simply unrealistic and unaffordable. Converting oil boilers to HVO seems like a good plan, but needs government buy in and duty reliefs to make it affordable and offer real choice to consumers.
