Motorsport is an important part of the Buckinghamshire economy. We sit in the heart of motorsport valley with many businesses in the sector and huge numbers of jobs. As Co-Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Motorsport, Greg Smith MP has been working alongside colleagues to try and get a round of the World Rally Championship back into the UK, with a proposed event in Northern Ireland. The APPG have been around multiple government departments trying to secure government underwriting to enable the promoters to put it in the 2024 calendar and today Greg called on the Prime Minister to back it in PMQs.
