It's great news that our local Police Force Thames Valley continue to lead the way on combatting rural crime with the superb Rural Crime Taskforce. Our Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Barber, has ensured the 2024/25 budget has the resources to effectively double the officers in the Taskforce, which Greg Smith MP raised in Home Office Questions earlier, calling on the Minister to ensure the best practice in Thames Valley is replicated across the whole country.
