This evening Greg attended a packed public meeting (and pop up pub) in Ashendon, focused on saving the village pub, The Hundred of Ashendon.
Commenting, Greg said, "Outstanding turnout from the village of Ashendon this evening for a pop up pub and village meeting to discuss making the Ashendon Community Pub happen, buying the former Hundred of Ashendon pub. I’ll be backing their application for a Community Ownership Grant from the Government 100%. Thank you to everyone putting in so much hard work to get the village pub reopened. Rural pubs are so much more than local boozers, they’re community hubs and the beating heart of the village."
