Greg had the privilege to join the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport - Rt Hon Lucy Frazer MP - at Pinewood Studios who were hosting the Pinewood Futures Festival. Over 4,000 students considering a career in the film and tv industry attended over the Friday and Saturday, including three schools from the Buckingham constituency - Akeley Wood, Princes Risborough and Sir Thomas Freemantle. Greg was pleased to hear directly from some of Princes Risborough School pupils at the end of their visit.
Commenting, Greg said, "Film and television contributes billions to the economy and provides thousands of employment opportunities. Over this festival, a young resident of Buckinghamshire, thanks to Pinewood Studios, may have taken their first step in becoming the next Daniel Craig, Daisy Ridley or Ridley Scott or perhaps the next set designer, motion capture expert or script writer. Thank you to Pinewood for making the day so accessible (and fun with so many characters being brought to life) to our local young people."
