Greg Smith MP was delighted to attend and speak at the opening of Addingrove Dairy on the Bicester Road between Long Crendon and Oakley earlier today.
Commenting, Greg said, "An incredible new robotic dairy facility, a joint venture between P J Johnson & Sons and Chilton Home Farms Ltd which is run by the Johnson family, who have farmed there for generations. Part funded by government grant, it was wonderful to see it up and running, with happy cows!
"The robotic diary is a major innovation, that future proofs the farm, increases productivity and brings great animal welfare benefits.
"What's more they have a vending machine for milk and milkshakes fresh from the dairy, open from Monday 18th September 7am-7pm. Support local farmers, drop by and buy your milk direct from farm!"
