Greg visited Finemere Wood today with BBOWT’s Chief Executive Estelle Bailey and Senior Land Manager for Buckinghamshire Mark Vallance.
Commenting, Greg said: "We discussed the increasingly devastating impact of HS2 on the landscape and on habitats (e.g. Bechstein bats and various types of butterfly species), pressures from local housing developments and the need to ensure that biodiversity remains an essential part of planning policy going forward. I remain incredibly grateful to all the work that Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust - BBOWT do in protecting and preserving our incredibly valuable rural assets for all future generations to enjoy."
