Following the Prime Ministers Statement on the Windsor Framework, Greg Smith MP commended him on the clear progress made in fixing the issues with the Northern Ireland Protocol, but asked him to explain how the Stormont Break still has a presumption for EU law giving Northern Ireland an opt-out, rather than giving primacy to UK law with an option for Northern Ireland to opt-in to any EU laws they feel right for them. Greg will be studying the detail of the Windsor Framework in the coming days to determine whether it truly restores Northern Ireland to a full and equal part of our United Kingdom.
