Greg Smith MP has today formally responded to the public consultation on proposals for a 2,100 acre solar industrial installation in the Claydons. Greg has set out a series of reasons why a solar installation here is totally wrong and inappropriate and is calling on the companies behind the scheme, led by French energy giant EDF, to think again and withdraw.

Greg will continue his campaign against solar being installed on agricultural land, making the case for roof top solar and other technologies such as Small Modular Reactors to diversify our energy mix instead.
