Following the Chancellor of the Exchequer's Autumn Statement, Greg Smith MP raised the issue of the inflationary impact of fuel duty, particularly on our haulage sector: driving up the cost of food and goods as they are transported around the country to get to the shop shelves. Greg called on the Chancellor—who is right to focus on getting inflation down—to look at fuel duty ahead of the next full Budget.
