Buckingham MP Greg Smith was honoured to unveil a refurbished First World War memorial in Bierton last week. The stone memorial, on the old cricket pavilion, is particularly special as it not only pays tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, but those who also served but came home. We will remember them.
Commenting Greg said: "I would like to thank everyone involved in the work to refurbish this wonderful memorial stone that will ensure those from Bierton who went to war, those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and those who returned, will always be remembered."
