Greg Smith MP had a recess road trip today to NFU Mutual HQ in Stratford-upon-Avon alongside the National Police Chiefs Council lead on rural crime Superintendent Andy Huddleston, to meet with their Chief Executive Nick Turner and other senior staff to discuss how the measures in his Private Members Act on preventing equipment theft will positively impact premiums as well as more general discussions on rural crime, not least their support for the National Rural Crime Unit. Likewise a new project to work on around how to encourage more fire suppression systems on combines.
