Greg Smith MP visited Stowe School today (27th September 2021) to meet with Change 100 Ambassadors and learn more about their proposals for a new DT Centre.
Greg said: "It was fantastic to visit Stowe School earlier today and meet their Change 100 Ambassadors and Headmaster, Dr Anthony Wallersteiner. Change 100 is Stowe's bold vision of raising an endowment fund of £100 million – dedicated to providing access to a Stowe education and financial assistance to children from less-advantaged backgrounds. It gives life-changing opportunities to talented and deserving boys and girls.
"We then visited the site of Stowe’s proposed new Design and Technology centre. I believe there are strong arguments for this project to go ahead, both for the good of the school and the wider community. It is great that Stowe’s partners, the National Trust and Stowe House Preservation Trust, are onboard with the project. This transformation at Stowe is something that everyone in Buckinghamshire can be extremely proud of, and something that could not have happened without the school at its heart."
