Greg Smith MP was delighted to visit Westbury Community Shop and cafe this afternoon, meeting with the wonderful team there and hearing how the community owned shop and cafe is going from strength to strength. The Buckingham MP was particularly pleased to hear about their work experience programme for pupils at Furze Down School in Winslow.
Joining the visit was Chris Cowcher, Head of Policy at the Plunkett Foundation, who gave a useful insight into community owned businesses locally and some of the issues facing them for Greg to take to Ministers back in Westminster.
Greg even bought some Christmas treats whilst there too... Westbury Community Shop and cafe is definitely worth a visit!
