With an increasing number of children needing SEND provision, it is undoubtedly the case that there is a huge challenge ahead. Just before the General Election the last Conservative Government confirmed funding for a brand new SEND school for Buckinghamshire.
Since Labour took over I have been trying to ascertain whether the new Government will honour this important commitment. The Ministers answer to me earlier completely evaded the question - and I will continue to push on this. Local children and families deserve clarity from the Government.
