Outrageous reforms by Labour’s Angela Rayner that will devastate the Buckinghamshire countryside.
They include deleting important protections for agricultural land from the National Planning Policy Framework; changing the definition of the Green Belt to allow building on our countryside; and reinstating top-down housing targets from Whitehall rather than listening to local communities.
I will fight against these plans through the upcoming consultation on the NPPF to ensure the Bucks’ countryside remains protected.
