Today (Tuesday 10th May 2022) in Parliament Greg welcomed the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as part of this month’s War Graves Week, during which we remember the men and women who fought and died during the First and Second World Wars.
Greg said, "We simply cannot forget the heroic sacrifices made by those who valiantly defended our country and the Commonwealth to ensure the triumph of freedom and democracy that we in Parliament stand for each and every day.
"To celebrate War Graves Week (21-28 May), CWGC are encouraging us all to reconnect with our local history by visiting one of our local war graves sites. With 66 locations that commemorate over 170 fallen servicemen and women across the constituency, I would urge everyone in North Buckinghamshire to visit both their local war graves cemetery and CWGC’s website (www.cwgc.org) to learn more about this extraordinary chapter in our national story."
