The MOD has announced an eight-year deal, worth £9 billion, with Rolls-Royce to support the Royal Navy’s fleet of nuclear submarines.
I welcomed this deal, which was started by the last Government and pressed the Minister to confirm she sees it as central to the long term future of the AUKUS partnership.
