Buckingham MP Greg Smith had an eye-opening morning with Princes Risborough Councillors Bill Bendyshe-Brown, Gary Hall, Matt Walsh and neighbouring MP Rob Butler, looking at the need for road improvements, particularly on the A4010.
The road has a number of sections that are too narrow for larger vehicles to safely pass, not to mention the risk to cyclists and pedestrians.
The group saw first hand the difficulties faced for larger and emergency vehicles from the cab of a privately owned former fire engine.
Greg said: "Rob and I will be working with local Councillors to make the case for improvements to this important road, which among other things is a key "blue light" link between Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe hospitals."
