Following the Prime Ministers Statement in the House of Commons on a second national lockdown, Greg Smith MP called for assurances that the government will do everything possible to ensure those with non-Covid illnesses are protected. This is particularly important given Prof Karol Sikora of the University of Buckingham Medical School found that in the first lockdown many seriously ill people went undiagnosed by staying at home. It is absolutely vital that anyone who has symptoms of a serious illness goes to the doctor and gets the treatment they need.
