Greg Smith MP questioned the Chancellor of the Exchequer following his latest announcement of financial support measures to cover the second lockdown. Greg praised the Chancellor for the effectiveness of his measures so far, citing analysis from the Bank of England which shows the measures are working. Greg continues to push for support for those who have not currently been in receipt of support, such as owner/directors of small limited companies who legitimately pay themselves via dividends, but warmly welcomes the extent of the support across the whole economy, not least the latest extension of furlough through to March 2021.
