This morning, during Treasury Questions, Greg once more highlighted the needs of the coach industry for a support package due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
In particular Greg focused on the level of debt many coach companies are in due to things the State required them to do, such as upgrading fleets to meet PSVAR and Euro-6 standards.
Commenting, Greg said: "I have a very simple view that if the government causes a company to be in debt, the answer in a crisis cannot be more debt. I will continue to push the case for the coach industry, including at a one of session of the Transport Select Committee on coaches later this month."
