Greg visited Newton Longville today to see for himself some of the issues caused by East West Rail.
Greg said, "Thank you to Cllr Mike Chapman and Cllr Ian Whipp for showing me around Park Manor Farm in Newton Longville earlier where the owners have been repeatedly mistreated by East West Rail’s contractors. The security of their farm, which lies adjacent to the railway, has been severely compromised as well as in parts being totally unsuitable for a field with horses kept in it. I’m calling on EWR Alliance to take their duty of care seriously. They must step up and treat the local farmers with the dignity and respect that they deserve after having endured so much disruption in their doorstep."
