Greg Smith MP addressed the The Road Haulage Association Parliamentary Reception tonight to mark National Lorry Week 2022.
Greg said, "Road haulage and coaches are a hugely important part of our economy, and as a member of the Transport Select Committee and Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Road Haulage and Logistics, I am focussed on securing a 15p essential user rebate on fuel (which I am arguing will help get inflation down), better roadside facilities to support recruitment and retention in the sector and help shape the debate around fuels of the future for hauliers, such as synthetics."
