The Government has rightly made energy support packages available to business, but particular support has been made available to energy intensive businesses in the manufacturing sector. At an urgent question on food security in the House of Commons this morning, Greg Smith MP challenged the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to work with the Energy Secretary to classify agriculture and horticulture as energy intensive to get support to our vital and world class food producers.
