At 11am Greg Smith MP stood in the House of Commons, alongside fellow Members of Parliament, for a minute silence in support of our friends in Ukraine, marking a year since Putin's barbaric invasion.
Later the local MP joined a candlelit vigil in Princes Risborough alongside our welcome Ukrainian guests, some of whom movingly sang for us in Ukranian.
Greg said, "It was an honour to write a message of support for Ukraine and tie it to the tree of light in Duke Street Gardens. Thank you to everyone involved in organising this vigil that brought so many together in common cause.
"Putin must fail. Freedom will win."
