At the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Questions in the House of Commons this morning, Greg Smith MP raised the issues flagged in the NFU Online's latest digital technology survey on rural connectivity, calling on the Farming Minister to work with colleagues in government to ensure rural areas are prioritised for the roll out of gigabit broadband and the Shared Rural Network for mobile signal.
