Greg Smith MP has very much welcomed the funding model review announced for the BBC, although a rise in the BBC Licence Fee this year seems unjustifiable given they are asking for more to do less, having cut content on BBC Three Counties Radio and closed the Oxford newsroom. So the Buckingham MP challenged the Culture Secretary to lock in a consumer test to ensure the BBC actually delivers what viewers and listeners want.
