Yesterday there was an important debate on the Loan Charge scandal. Greg Smith MP stands firmly on the side of the victims of the Loan Charge, many of whom are constituents, who took advice in good faith and find themselves facing huge bills to pay HMRC for something that has been retrospectively applied, whilst the promoters of these schemes are not being pursued. 10 people have already tragically taken their lives over this and many more are in a desperate situation. Greg will keep working on this for justice on a scandal that has the potential to be even worse than the Post Office Horizon crisis.
