The new Labour government seem determined to build over our countryside on multiple fronts. I have always opposed the building of a new mega prison in Grendon Underwood and used my first question in the new Parliament to ask the Lord Chancellor to meet me to discuss why this mega prison is neither fair nor a viable option to solve prison capacity issues.
I will keep pushing on this.
