Once again, Labour is failing our steel industry. Port Talbot's output is set to drop to zero, with jobs lost and a 5-year wait for a new arc furnace.
Why didn’t the Secretary of State push Tata to keep the blast furnace running? Under the Conservatives, we committed £500 million to save steel jobs. Labour, on the other hand, delivers nothing but empty promises. Our steelworkers deserve better.
