In my role as Shadow Roads Minister, I challenged the Secretary of State on whether Labour would commit to continuing the previous Conservative Government’s £11billion road repairs budget. No such commitment was forthcoming from her.
They’re in government, they inherited this budget, but won’t say they’ll spend it. We need that money spent on our roads.
