As Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Motorsport and Formula 1, I took the opportunity of questions to the Leader of the House of Commons to congratulate McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 Team on their victory in the F1 Constructors Championship this year - the British icons first title since 1998!
The value of motorsport to our economy, innovation and environmental sustainability with Formula 1 moving to sustainable fuel from 2026 is something we should celebrate more widely.
